Dr. Michael Petrie

Dr. Michael Petrie

Dr. Michael Petrie received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in 1979. Upon graduation, Dr. Petrie opened his office in Fort Lauderdale, where he continues working today. He is the past President of the Local Chamber, past Board Member of the Florida Chiropractic Society, and has been on the Board of Trustees for the largest chiropactic college in the nation. He has performed Independent Medical Examinations, been an expert medical witness and testified in trial on numerous occasions. His interests include bicycling, billiards, boating. He has been a licensed pilot for over 25 years.

Dr. Douglas Kellerman

Dr. Douglas Kellerman

Dr. Douglas Kellerman received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York and has been practicing chiropractic medicine since 1997. Dr. Kellerman relocated to South Florida in 2000 after practicing for three years in the Metropolitan New York area. Dr. Kellerman has helped thousands of people obtain better health and improved wellness by utilizing his understanding of chiropractic medicine and the connection to the human body. Dr. Kellerman is married and is the father of two boys. Dr. Kellerman enjoys the South Florida life style of beaches, boating and fishing.

Expertise

Both doctors have been guest speakers for numerous seminars and have been the treating doctors for professional and local sports teams. They continue to stay on the pulse of their profession by attending seminars in an effort to expand their expertise in the field of healing arts and apply their knowledge to their patient base. Techniques

There are hundreds of chiropractic techniques, we both have trained in multiple methods. We have both taken Post graduate certification classes in acupuncture and passed the national board examination. Our primary chiropractic technique is “Inter-grated methods” a combination of Palmer method, Thompson technique and Diversified. Extremity adjustments and soft tissue techniques are commonly used. Spinal Decompression involves specialty equipment that we use on some disc injuries including herniated discs. Hands on health care to correct spinal lesions that interfere with nerve function and cause pain.
